The roots of our enterprise trace back to Bannur, Mysore District, where the late Sri Satyanarayana Iyer discovered his culinary passion assisting his father, the late Sri Vaman Iyer, in their restaurant. This ignited a lifelong dedication to the art of cooking, leading him to establish his own catering business in Mysuru in 1949.
His reputation for authentic Kerala-style cuisine flourished, earning him the privilege of serving Mysuru’s royal family. His expertise extended to large-scale events, notably catering for over 250,000 people at religious gatherings and countless weddings.
Driven by a vision to share traditional Indian sweets globally, he conceived of a manufacturing unit. Sadly, he passed away before its realization on April 3rd, 2016. Honoring his legacy, the family united to launch the production line and the inaugural Shree Vaishnavi Sweets and Snacks outlet.
